NSC PLATINUM Welcomes Northstar Prep to the 2020-2021 Season!

The NSC PLATINUM would like to welcome NORTHSTAR PREP (Winnipeg, MB) for the inaugural 2021 season.
Having launched in 2018, Northstar has provided a gateway to the mainstream for midwestern Canadian talent. Through the leadership and vision of Head Coach Daron Leonard in two years of NPA action, Northstar has risen quickly within the ranks and will continue building towards being a premiere destination in 2020/21 with strong additions to staff, roster and infrastructure. Between top tier scheduling and training, Northstar has been able to put together an unprecedented opportunity from out of Manitoba, and are excited to be joining the NSC Platinum as a means of connecting with other top tier programs in a highly competitive landscape.
This year’s team will be led by a tandem of 3-year veteran senior guards Edge Capuno (5’10”, Winnipeg) and Emmanuel Ugbah (6’4”, Winnipeg), with a very solid supporting cast and potential star additions to come. With a playmaking wing rotation of Ayman Khaled (6’5”, Mississauga) and Elvis Music (6’5”, Winnipeg) and future star Ashton Klysh (6’5”, Winnipeg), this year’s team will be defined by versatility, length and up-tempo play. This past season saw 8 players move on to the next level with this year’s class expected to be the strongest yet.
